Cleansing Coconut Chocolate
Coconut oil has amazing health benefits. Consuming at least 2 tbs a day of this natural healing food will help aid in digestion. This is my favorite recipe that I eat with my coffee or tea in the morning. Simple and sweet!
- 2 tbs of unrefined coconut oil (you can find coconut oil at most grocery stores)
- 1 tbs of coco powder (raw preferred because it has more nutrients than standard coco powder & can be found at most health stores)
- 1/2 tbs of cinnamon
- 1 tbs of turmeric (a great herb for cleaning the blood, an anti-inflammatory)
- 1/2 tbs of sweetener (coconut sugar, coconut flakes or agave nectar works nicely)
1) Mix together in a small bowl.
2) Freeze for 5 minutes in a small bowl or cupcake holder.
3) Scoop out and enjoy the delicious health benefits!
